Main Article Content
Abstract
This article discloses and studies for the first time a group of seven tapestries belonging to the Foundation Julio Muñoz Ramonet. They are pieces of great quality, woven in the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries, six of them were woven in two of the most important manufacturing centres of the time: Brussels and Aubusson. In this article, the painters that executed or inspired the models of the tapestries are also identified -Isaac Moillon (1614-1673), Francesco Albani (1578-1660)-, at the same time that parallel pieces are located in other important public and private collections.
